Friends and family are always welcome to spend time visiting loved ones in the cemetery during regular hours. Mount Olivet's gates are generally open "by the dawn's early light" and remain so until the "twilight's last gleaming."  Mausoleum visiting hours are 8:30am-4:50pm, seven days a week.

The cemetery proudly welcomes history and art lovers, family genealogists, photographers and "tombstone tourists" of all ages. We offer visitors interpretive exhibits, a self-guided tour along with occasional guided tours, special events and lecture programs (check our schedule of events). Eight miles of paved roadway criss-cross the spacious cemetery grounds, allowing for recreational usage by walkers, runners and cyclists conducting themselves in a reverent and respectable manner.
